What is the difference between the Cultrex Collagen I (Rat), 3440-100-01, and the 3-D Collagen I Rat Tail, 3447-020-01?
FAQ from Trevigen

Our 3D Collagen has been tested extensively for the ability to promote growth and differentiation of cell types, visualized by morphology in three dimensions in vitro (however, addition of laminin may be required as shown, for MCF-10A cells, in the product data sheet). The standard collagen undergoes the same basic purification and efficacy tests. Essentially, the 3D Collagen is the same as standard material, however it promotes the attachment and growth of murine endothelial SVEC4-10 cells, and the attachment and spreading of HT-1080 human fibrosarcoma cells.
