TransSilent™ TF siRNA Vectors

Achieve effective gene knockdown with TranSilent TF siRNA vectors

  • Specific - siRNA vectors target TF mRNA sequences

  • Easy to use - only transfection required

  • Effective - functionally tested to reduce gene expression by 80-90%

  • Long-lasting - stable vector-expression of siRNA

  • Flexible - clone your own insert into our control siRNA vector

  • Verifiable - optional TF antibodies for each siRNA

Figure 1: Schematic Diagram of the RNA interference mechanism.

After being processed in the cell, the vector-expressed siRNA is incorporated into a multi-protein nuclease complex known as the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). Homology between the sense portion of the siRNA sequence and the mRNA enables the nuclease enzyme to bind and cleave the TF-encoding transcript into small pieces, which are degraded by the cell’s machinery. Once the cleavage of one mRNA molecule has occurred, the RISC is freed from the transcript to perform additional rounds of catalysis.

Panomics currently offer TranSilent siRNA vectors that target 46 different TFs.

Each vector can be purchased with or without antibody to the corresponding TF.
