	The parabolic shape of the sample shows that the speed is high in the middle and extremely low on the sides of the tube. This is shown on the chromatogram by a peak tailing and is a prejudice to the good productivity during a purification.

Annular injection system (A.I.S.)

AIS is a split-Flow injection system which allows the compensation of the wall effect of the conventional columns. The central flow/flow ratio can vary in order to obtain a perfect optimization of the Easy-pack performance.

One of the main advantages of AIS in regards to traditional columns is the tremendous increase of the loading capacity.

Injection of 200µl of Me, Et & Bu phthalate esther solution (3g of each in 100ml solvent).

Flow rate : 75 ml/min,

Pressure compression
50 x 105 Pa

UV : 270 nm

Sensitivity : 0.1 UA

Reference solution RS2 : 15 g Me, Et and Bu phthalate in 5 ml solvent. Maximum quantity injected validating 100% purity for each sample peak.

A : 3 ml of RS2

B : 6 ml of RS2
