Typical Hardware Available

 

 

Stainless Steel (SS) Columns with compression fittings (Valco, Parker, Swagelok type)

  • 316L tubing

  • 1/16" Female Inlet & Outlet

  • 2 µm SS frits with peek sealing rings

Internal diameter from 0.5 to 21.2 mm

Its main advantage is the possibility to cut tube at a desired length.

Their major inconvenience is the difficult, to see impossible, frits replacement.

 

Merck or Macherey Nagel type Cartridges

  • Direct connection guard cartridge/analytical cartridge

  • Hand-tight system

  •  1/16" Female Inlet & Outlet"

Internal diameter from 0.5 to 21.2 mm

Like the first system, the inconvenience is the difficult frits replacement.

Be careful, cartridges can be drying during storage.

 

Peek Columns

  • Biocompatible

  • High inertness and chemical resistance

  • 1/16" Female Inlet & Outlet (PTFE/PEEK) frits & ceramics

Focus on the bio chromatography market, they are available with 2.1 and 4.6 mm i.d.

Due to their nature, the column performance could be sometime lower than other conventional columns.

 

Velocity Columns

Created by Optimize Technologies, they are dedicated to LC/MS, MS/MS applications. Three length 15 - 30 -50 mm are available. A special holder is necessary to use them.

 

Preparative Columns

Modulo-cart hardware is available up to 21.2 mm.

28.0 mm i.d. hardware is thread system and for 50.8 mm i.d. we use bridles type columns.

 

Nano and Micro Columns

  • 316L SS tubing

  • Glass lined peek tubing

  • 2 µm SS screen frits

2 µm SS screen frits

It is imperative to fill these columns with very high quality material.

Our Uptisphere media fit perfectly this requirement and are the guaranty for perfect results.

This new hardware, like the Quick seal, integrate the caps frits technology. (soon available)

 

Glass Columns

We offer a complete line of glass columns.

Their inertness are useful for bio chromatography analysis.
