What kind of analytical support for ion exchange can you use to fit with your purification needs ?

First of all, ION EXCHANGE = a purification of molecules method based on ionic (Cationic or anionic) interactions.

In that way, positive molecules are linked to a negatively charged sorbent and inversely for the negative molecules. The elution is done with an increasing salt concentration gradient so that the less charged molecules are eluted first.

To fit with all your purification needs, you can use 3 kinds of analytical support:

- Silica: for the highest resolution
- Polymere: for the largest range of pH (1 - 12)
- Cellufine: reticulated Cellulose based resin
