Hello,
I presently works with BSA/BSTFA-TMCS and MTBSTFA according a silylation procedure. I asks me if I must work under inert atmosphere ?

Thanks,

Christy ;)

Hello Christy,

No, you do not have to work under inert atmosphere with GC derivatization reagents. This reagents are used under normal lab conditions. I recommend you purge them with nitrogen for storage.
However, inert atmosphere is not a requirement for working with this product.
