The correspondences between analytical ELSD gain and Flash ELSD gain are as follows:
- A gain of 12 on the Flash instrument corresponds to approximately 8 on the analytical instrument.
- A gain of 6 on the Flash instrument corresponds to approximately 2 on the analytical instrument.
- Below a value of 5 on the Flash instrument, there is no match on the analytical instrument (a gain of 1 is the lowest value).
