Inserts selection

Limited volume inserts are an economical solution in sample analysis to reduce the use and waste of solvents and small samples. In order to ensure proper instrument performance and test results please use our guide to ensure that the appropriate insert is used with your autosampler vial.
The goal of every chromatographer is to increase sensitivity, selectivity and reproducibility.
Limited volume sampling can provide an increase in sensitivity by reducing the dilution of sample that can be solubilized in low volumes of solvent.
Inserts are placed into a regular vial; vials are closed as usual.
As an alternative for small volumes you may use micro-vials with conic inner shape.
Microvolume inserts are available in two types of materials (glass and polypropylene) with 3 styles of inserts :

- Conical bottom
Best suited for µl volumes, allows virtually zero dead volume
     - Conical bottom with polymer spring
Most expensive choice when a polypropylene bottom spring is attached.
However, this alternative offers a very efficient insert for injection accuracy and minimizing sample loss.

   - Flat bottom: sample size 250µl
