Reactivity :

Rat gamma 2c heavy chain of immunoglobulin (determined by immunodot)
The specificity of MAbs anti-IgG subclasses is determined in a range of optimal concentrations. Increasing of the first or second antibody at an inadequate and unnecessary concentration can induce possible cross-reactions with other subclasses.

Avidity :

On IgG2c: 4.8x109 M-1 (Cf. Avidity sheet for more details).

Applications :

Cf Reactivity
- can be used for capture elisa: good binding on plastics
- can be labelled with peroxidase, FITC and biotin
- can be used as second antibody in immunoassays (2,3)
- cannot be frozen and thawed many times. susceptible to be denatured by such a treatment
- cannot be coated on nitrocellulose (dot-elispot)
