Nexterion Hyb

The hybridization of Nexterion Slide E, Nexterion Slide AL and Nexterion Slide A+ can be done in commercially available hybridization chambers or with cover slips.

The purified and labeled target nucleic acid should be dissolved in Nexterion Hyb. The amount of buffer depends on the desired final nucleic acid concentration and the size of the hybridization chamber used. In case the target nucleic acid is already dissolved in a different buffer or in water the sample can also be diluted in Nexterion Hyb.

The concentration of Nexterion Hyb needs to be at least 90% (v/v) in the final hybridization solution (mixture ratio 1:9).

Our Nexterion Hyb increases the efficiency of microarray hybridization reactions by expediting base pair formations between complementary target sequences that are attached to the microarray surface and labeled probe molecules in solution. Our Nexterion Hyb also reduces background fluorescence.

The buffer components stabilise extended hybridizations. The buffer is compatible with many different surface chemistries and is ready to use.

Amresco Microarray Hybridization Buffers

These General Hybridization Buffers require no preparation – They are ready to use, pre-mixed (and at various concentrations) for many different research needs, including microarray and hybridization. Since they have optimised formulations, these General Hybridization Buffers are ideal for such specific applications as hybridization, blotting, binding, and washing. The General Hybridization Buffers are manufactured by AMRESCO using only the highest quality reagents and are filtered to provide high sensitivity and a very low background every time they are used. The buffers available are: 1X SSC Buffer w/0.1% SDS, 6X SSC Buffer w/0.2% SDS, 0.1X SSC Buffer w/0.2% SDS, 0.1X SSPE Buffer w/0.2% SDS, 10X SSC Buffer w/0.5% SDS, and 20X SSC Buffer w/1% Sarcosyl. All the buffers are offered in a 1-liter size.
