Cross-reactivity :

Does not cross-react with guinea pig, chicken, rabbit, goat, sheep, cow, horse, dog, swine, baboon immunoglobulins. Does not cross-react with mouse Ig. Cross-reacts with baboon immunoglobulins (ELISA test).

Applications :

Cf reactivity

- can be used for capture elisa (good binding on plastics)
- can be labelled with FITC, biotin and peroxidase
- can be used as second antibody in immunoassays
- can be used to detect membrane ig l on human lymphocytes
- can be used in western blot analysis.
- binds free l light chain as well as complete l immunoglobulin molecules.
- can be used in Immunoaffinity chromatography for purification of human Ig l (Solid phase Sepharose 4B CNBr act.)
