AGAROSES FOR MOLECULAR BIOLOGY - Product Information |
|
Agarose electrophoresis is an indispensable tool in molecular biology. Critical to the success of this technique is the availability of highly purified agaroses that have been carefully blended to provide uniform lot-to-lot reproducibility. AMRESCO has agaroses to fit all of your electrophoresis needs. Our agaroses are carefully purified for your most demanding applications. Agarose I™ is a regular melting temperature agarose for electrophoresis needs requiring an exceptional level of purity with unequaled performance. Agarose II™ is a low temperature agarose for special applications needing a lower melting temperature. This product has been thoroughly tested and is optimal for "in-gel" restriction digestion/ligaton and DNA recovery. AMRESCO Agarose II at 1% forms a very manageable clear gel that will provide excellent resolution and melting characteristics. Agarose II will melt at approx. 65°C and will remain fluid at 37°C for at least 24 hrs., providing an excellent matrix for enzymatic manipulation of your samples. Agarose III™ PFGE grade for Pulsed-Field Gel Electrophoresis. With exceptionally low sulfate content and electroendosmosis, excellent lot-to-lot reproducibility, and high gel strength, this is the agarose of choice for high molecular weight separations. All of our agaroses undergo rigorous quality control testing. Each lot is blended for uniformity and performance tested for nuclease/protease activity, band sharpness, separation, and reproducibility of results. No matter which AMRESCO agarose you choose, you can be sure you are using the finest product available anywhere at any price. |
