Mallinckrodt Chemical company (1867) acquires J.T.Baker (1904) and forms Mallinckrodt Baker Inc in 1995.
In 2010, Mallinckrodt Baker Inc is acquired by an affiliate of New Mountain Capital and becomes Avantor™ Performance Materials, a global manufacturer of high-purity performance chemistries and materials sold under the J.T.Baker® and Mallinckrodt® brands.
